1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the AIAffiliateMarketing application ("we," "our," or "App") collects, uses, and discloses information when you connect your PInterest or Instagram account to use our services. Our App uses either PInterest's API or Instagram's API to help you create and publish ai generated, supervised, affiliate marketing posts and optionally automate responses to their comments.
By using our App and granting the requested permissions through a consent as requested by the OAuth workflow , you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The data we process is subject to:

2. Information We Collect
Our App collects a limited set of information, strictly necessary for its core functionality. We collect the following data, which is stored in our internal database:
For PInterest:
Information Related to the PInterest Pin generated by our App: When you use the App to create and publish a pin, we store:
The unique PInterest identifier of the published pin.
The URL of the published pin on PInterest.
The timestamp (date and time) when the pin was published.
For Instagram:
Information Related to the Instagram Posts generated by our App: When you use the App to create and publish a post, we store:
The unique Instagram identifier of the published post.
The URL of the published post on Instagram.
The URL of the main image displayed in the post.
The timestamp (date and time) when the post was published.
Information on comments on the posts published by our App: To provide the automated response feature, our App receives notifications of comments on the posts it publishes. We just process the content of these comments to check for the keyword "LINK." without saving the comment text. In particular we store:
The unique Instagram identifier of the notification sent to our App from the Meta platform.
The timestamp (date and time) of the notification sent to our App from the Meta platform.
The unique Instagram identifier of the change (comment) included in the notification sent to our App from the Meta platform (Instagram platform batches changes and multiple changes can be included in a single notification).
The id and username of the user who commented the post whose text contained the exact "LINK" keyword.
The id and timestamp (date and time) of the message sent to the previous user containing the affiliate marketing hyperlink
We store also the content of the notification payloads sent to our App from the Instagram platform for audit trial for six months.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To create and publish pins/posts on your connected PInterest or Instagram account.
To receive notifications of comments on those posts (only for Instagram account).
To automatically check comments for the keyword "LINK (only for Instagram account)."
To send a direct message, containing the post's picture and a hyperlink, only to users who comment with the "LINK" keyword (only for Instagram account).
To maintain and improve the functionality of our App.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (For EEA/UK Users)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legal basis for processing your information is:
Performance of a Contract: The processing is necessary to provide the core services of the AIAffiliateMarketing App, as requested by you when you connect your account.
Legitimate Interests: We have a legitimate interest in improving our App's functionality and ensuring its security.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
With Meta: As part of using the Instagram API, information is shared with Meta, which is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
With PInterest: As part of using the PInterest API, information is shared with PInterest, which is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.
6. Data Retention
We retain the information related to your Instagram posts (as listed in Section 2) for as long as your account is connected to our App to provide our service. You may request deletion of this data at any time by contacting us. We do not retain the content of user comments after the automated check for the "LINK" keyword is performed.

Under the GDPR, if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have the right to:

8. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Authentication for your Instagram account is handled securely through Facebook's OAuth process, and we do not store your Instagram login credentials.

The data storage and processing is currently located in Italy, Europe. In the future your data might be moved or processed on servers located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). When transfers occur, we will inform you and let you decide whether to opt out; if you decide to continue using our services we will ensure that appropriate safeguards will be put in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
10. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
